Tasteful does not vanish if you skip the trial. Keep logging meals and deciding on your phone— on that device only. Cloud sync, backup, multi-device access, and household sharing need an active plan. Your local library stays yours.
Questions
- What counts as a household?
- The people you regularly eat and plan meals with—partners, roommates, co-parents, or just you. One subscription covers one household’s cloud access for up to six registered accounts. Meal-only guests without an account don’t count toward the cap.
- Who has to pay?
- The household owner subscribes through Apple. Everyone they invite gets full access while that subscription is active—no per-person fees.
- How does the 14-day trial work?
- Start the trial in the app. You get every feature—including household invites—for 14 days. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Subscriptions before the trial ends if you don’t want to be charged. After that, it’s $10/year unless you cancel.
- What if I don’t subscribe?
- The app still works on your phone. Log meals, build your library, and decide locally—on that device only. Cloud sync, backup, multi-device access, and household sharing require an active plan.
- Is there a free tier?
- No permanently crippled free plan. We’d rather give you 14 days of the real thing than a demo designed to frustrate you into upgrading.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tasteful → Cancel. No retention maze. Access continues until the end of your trial or billing period unless Apple or local law says otherwise.
- Refunds?
- Apple only. We cannot refund your card or calculate prorated amounts. Cancel in Settings → Subscriptions anytime. For money back, use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support—Apple decides. Email us for product help, not billing.
