Common questions
Billing & subscription
- Who charges my card?
- Apple—not Tasteful. All payments and refunds go through Apple In-App Purchase. We never see your payment details.
- How do I cancel?
- Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Tasteful → Cancel. Access continues until the end of your current trial or annual period.
- How do I get a refund?
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Apple approves or denies refunds—we cannot issue refunds or calculate prorated amounts. Do not email us expecting a manual refund.
- How does the 14-day trial work?
- Start the trial in the app. Cancel in Settings → Subscriptions before day 14 to avoid being charged. After that, $10/year unless you cancel.
- Does everyone in my household pay?
- No. The household owner subscribes once; up to six registered members are covered while that subscription is active.
Using the app
- Can I use Tasteful without subscribing?
- Yes—on your phone, locally. Log meals and decide from on-device data. Cloud sync, backup, multi-device access, and household sharing require an active plan.
- What is a household?
- The people you regularly eat and plan meals with—partners, roommates, co-parents, or just you. One subscription covers one household’s cloud access.
- Sync isn’t working—what should I try?
- Confirm you have an active subscription, are signed in, and have network access. Force-quit and reopen the app. If it persists, email us with your iOS version and a short description—we’ll help with the app, not billing.
Account & privacy
- How do I delete my account and data?
- Email support@tasteful.to with subject “Privacy Request” from the address tied to your account. Self-service deletion is rolling out in the app.
- Can I export my data?
- Email support@tasteful.to to request a copy. Automated export may not be available yet.
- Do you sell my data or show ads?
- No. We do not sell personal information or run behavioral ad networks in the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
