Passkeys on web and iPhone
Sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN — no password typing. Manage passkeys in Settings on app.tasteful.to and in the iOS app; email and password still work for recovery.
Sign-in & security
Redesigned sign-in and sign-up — passkey-first login; email and password when you need them; clearer signup with confirm password. One account for your meals, recipes, and plans—online or offline.
Passkeys on web and iPhone — sign in without typing your password. Add a passkey after your first password sign-in, or manage passkeys in Settings.
Same account, both surfaces — passkeys registered on the web can sync to your iPhone via iCloud Keychain (and the other way around) when sync is enabled.
Password still works — email and password remain available for recovery, new devices, and password reset.

New look, better feedback, offline planning
TestFlight builds with a refreshed app icon, in-app feedback from anywhere, stronger offline sync, and smarter dinner recommendations.
Branding
New app icon — frosted plate with crossed fork and knife on a vibrant background, regenerated for all seven accent colors.
Match your icon to accent color — Settings shows a live preview; changing accent updates in-app and Home Screen icons.
Bigger loading icon on sign-in and initializing screens.
TestFlight feedback
Share an idea from anywhere — tap the lightbulb in the mini recommender to capture a screenshot and record a quick voice note.
Feedback lives in the bottom accessory beside +, not as a floating button over your content.
Clearer mini recommender — empty state shows Suggest a meal with a photo icon.
Meals
Gallery grid layout — cards stay aligned in the two-column grid when you switch from list to gallery.
Category saves correctly — changing a meal’s category in Edit now sticks after save and sync.
Planning & sync
Planner works offline — assign meals and restaurants locally first; sync when you reconnect.
Today stays today — accepting a suggestion for tomorrow’s dinner no longer replaces your Today hero.
Faster hero on launch — your accepted meal for today shows immediately; photos load from on-device cache when available.
Quality & security
Stronger offline storage and sync — meal data writes are serialized and atomic.
Private meal photos — cloud photos require authentication; uploads are scoped to your account.
Polish
Save button looks right — filled accent checkmark when you can save in edit flows.
