• Cuisine filter strip — tap a chip to filter; tap again to clear. Counts when you have matches.
• Search in three tiers — Your Restaurants, Nearby, then Farther Away (other cities, sorted by distance).

• Course filter strip — Mains, Drinks, Desserts, and more filter in place with counts on each chip.
• Gallery search — search works in gallery view again.

• Course — Mains, Drinks, Desserts, and more on add/edit; filter from ··· so juice recipes stay under Drinks.
• Clearer labels — Course vs Food Categories (dish types + cuisines) across meals, recipes, and restaurants.
• Up Next — queue button in the recipe toolbar renders reliably again.

Restaurants

• Search your library or Apple Maps — Nearby on Apple Maps rows appear as you type; tap to add without manual entry. Works in Restaurants, Search, and This or That.

Account

• People you plan for — kids and dependents without accounts. Both partners can view and edit the same profiles (allergies, diet, dislikes).

Home

• Add to this meal — include household profiles when planning a slot.
• This or that — toggle which registered members must vote; profiles appear as Also eating (no vote needed).
• Open ballot cleanup — Home drops cancelled, decided, and superseded ballots so only live votes show.

Library

• Colombian, Cuban, and Latin food categories — regional tags roll up under Latin in filters; Favorite Cuisines in Suggestion Settings uses the same list.

• This or that — originator Make the call after everyone’s in; End this vote without picking; recipients wait on the ballot starter; voters get Today’s Selection when certified (bow-outs exempt).

• Redesigned sign-in and sign-up — passkey-first login; email and password when you need them; clearer signup with confirm password. One account for your meals, recipes, and plans—online or offline.
• Passkeys on web and iPhone — sign in without typing your password. Add a passkey after your first password sign-in, or manage passkeys in Settings.
• Same account, both surfaces — passkeys registered on the web can sync to your iPhone via iCloud Keychain (and the other way around) when sync is enabled.
• Password still works — email and password remain available for recovery, new devices, and password reset.
